The Layout:
Based on the Dundalk Works, Dundalk, Co. Louth, Ireland, circa 1950. All the buildings on this layout are scratch built by several members of the club, but most by Mick Delaney. The buildings where modelled from old photographs, drawings and a couple of trips up to Dundalk to see what's left. Most of the rolling stock that runs on the layout is either scratch built or "modified ready to run". Ranging from the early steam Enterprise right up to the latest Enterprise.

The Dundalk Works layout is undergoing a massive changes. The Works section of the layout is not being changed but the other side of the layout that housed a large fiddle yard is now split in two and the reconstruction of the Boyne viaduct is well under way.

We where also very proud to show this layout at one of the biggest Model railway shows in the UK at the NEC, Birmingham, hosted by the Warley Model Railway Club in 2007.
