The Model Railway Society of Ireland

Welcome to the M.R.S.I. website.
We created this site to help promote the club, to say what we are about and to promote model railways throughout Ireland.

We have several layouts in our club rooms, at the Old Fire Station, Dorset St., both running and under construction. We give advice and tips to members starting a new layout or project with demonstrations & classes from our members.

We are in temporary clubrooms located at 30 Parnell Square West, Dublin 1. But we hope to be returning back to the Old Fire Station within the next few months.

So, if you feel like giving us a hand building layouts or just calling in for some general banter then don't hesitate to drop us an email (info@modelrailways.ie) and we'll be delighted to introduce you to our members.

is proud to be hosting a Model Railway & Hobbies exhibition.

The offices of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council/Comhairle Chontae Dhún Laoghaire Ráth an Dúin,
County Hall, Marine Road, Dun Laoghaire, County Dublin.

Children -                         € 2.00 (free if accompanied by an adult)

11:30 to 17:30 each day

Adult/OAP/Student -        €6.00
Children -                         €4.00
Family -                            €16.00 (2 adults & 2 children only)
