Ballyglunin Station, Co. Galway, was run by Midland Great Western Railway Company on the Athenry and Tuam Railway is better known as Castletown from the film The Quiet Man staring John Wayne, Maureen O'Hara.

The layout represents the station and the surrounding area with the village of Cong (where John Wayne had the fight) at one end and "the cottage" at the other

This layout is under construction and will be at our MODEL RAILWAYS & HOBBIES show in October. It will also represent the MRSI at Model Rail Scotland in Glasgow on Feburary 2023.
